Music and Movement Classes

There are a vast amount of different personalities in most toddler groups and classes which range from very boisterous/hyperactive behaviour to the very shy/timid behaviour.

Regardless of personality or ability, every child receives equal treatment and attention and will benefit greatly from our classes. The very boisterous and hyperactive will be encouraged to let off steam by a host of activities. After all, this is what the class is designed for. The shy and timid will be gently encouraged to join in the activities, helping to build confidence and helping them make new friends.

Our aim is to make every child feel special (like they truly are) and no-one should feel left out!

Children will automatically learn the importance of manners, patience, and socialising positively in groups! This class is an excellent introduction into dancing, singing and musical instruments for the very young helping to develop coordination, vocal skills, social skills, early language skills, rhythm and a love of music!

Welcome to our music page. Our class structure is designed for carers to fully participate in the class with their child and baby which is an extremely important part of the success of the classes. The more you take part in the music making and movement, the more your child will get out of it. Children learn by imitation and when they see you singing, playing musical instruments and moving to the music they will try to do the same.

We will focus on enhancing your child's ability to hear, feel and move to a beat.

This class includes action songs, musical instruments, movement props, puppets, colourful laminates, parachute play and oodles of bubbles! It is an extremely lively and interactive class which makes learning fun, whilst teaching the importance of manners, patience, and socialising positively in groups and is a great early introduction into music. Whilst this class is well structured, we are very relaxed and if your little one wants to move about, they are free to do so.

These classes are perfect for a parent or carer who has a baby and an older sibling under the age of 4 and is looking for active stimulation for both of these age-groups. We also have babies only sessions - please see below.

Our fun, interactive baby music sessions include fun warm up exercises, action songs, percussion instruments, movement props, puppets, parachute and bubbles. We try to make every baby and their carer feel welcome and part of the class. Come along and learn all those traditional action songs that have long been forgotten. Help pass them down to your little ones so that it continues through the generations. Join in and be inspired by some of the newer action songs too. Even if you feel you are not a great singer, your baby will LOVE the sound of your voice! Music is a wonderful activity to be incorporated into your every day lives.

Child care providers

We will come into your establishment and provide one hour's worth of Tippee Toes entertainment for your children (up to 12 children per session). We urge as many carers to join in as possible in order to create the best atmosphere and fun for all. We provide all the equipment and props to share out to the class for the duration of the session.

We can provide a regular service or a one-off service, whichever is suitable.
